4th December 2011 : St. John's Wood High Street Fayre

Following the success of last year’s event, the Christmas street party took place on the afternoon of 4th December in aid of the St. John's Hospice. The St.John's Wood Society proudly co-sponsored this event and the money raised at the Christmas fayre went towards the day to day running of the hospice. A good day was had by all!

18th April 2012: SJWS Book Club - Inaugural Meeting

The St John’s Wood Society Book Club will meet for the first time on Wednesday 18^th April.  The book to be discussed is ‘The Imperfectionists’ by Tom Rachman a well-reviewed debut novel. It is published in paperback by Quercus and available through Amazon. The Book Club will meet in the sitting room of the Alms Houses at 80, St John's Wood Terrace (near the junction with Woronzow Rd – go to the central door) at 8 pm on Wednesday 18^th April.

This is a new venture for the Society and all members are encouraged to join. There is no fee - all you have to do is let the organiser, Stephen Levinson know you want to come along by contacting him on stephen@slevinson.com or calling on 0207 286 7331, and, of course, read the book! Stephen will lead the discussion at the first meeting and we will then also fix programme for the year and hope to accommodate the reading tastes of all members of the club. 

14th July 2012: Tree Walk
